The desk, direct
Last updated 9 August 2026Every Ferric instrument has a Mac build, and it is a direct download — not the Mac App Store. That is a format decision: a sandboxed App Store app is not permitted to install a component Audio Unit or a VST3, so shipping that way would serve Logic and GarageBand and quietly abandon Ableton, Bitwig, Reaper and FL.
One file each. The AUv3 ships inside the app — drag it to Applications, launch it once, and the plugin registers itself with the system. There is no second installer.
